In addition to Gail’s passion for her daylilies and gardening, she has a small collection of Armillary spheres, early astronomical instruments designed to show movement of the celestial sphere around the Earth positioned in the center of the sphere.  Here work with painted barn quilts earned her a spotlight article in the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society Journal.
