Past Host Cities
An Annual Event - the National Convention
In-person meetings have been in the fabric of our society since the early 40's when the media of the day would greatly influence the popularity of the daylily. Through a Round Robin formed out of the Henry Field Seed Company, strong feelings developed that the time had come to organize a daylily society. With the Robin member influence, the Midwest Hemerocallis Society was formed. The next year they would hold a second convention, and publish their first journal. From that year forward, reflecting our roots, National Conventions have been held at beautiful cities all over the United States.
