Snow’s Daylily Garden

I have four acres filled with a variety of flowers, mainly being daylilies. The back side of my property is comprised of a 400 foot X 20 foot shade garden that is home to over 200 hostas. There is a walking path through this garden. There are several arbors on the land that have different varieties of flowers growing over the top or around the edge. The pond area has a daylily bed in the center as well a dock surrounded by daylilies on the sides. The pond has a cross-over bridge going to the back side of the shade garden. A true highlight to the garden can be found in the corner of the shade garden where a repurposed piano has been turned into a water fall surrounded with more flowers. The pond is surrounded by a fence which is outlined with different cultivars of day lilies.

Some unique features of the gardens is that the name SNOW is spelled out with flowers, as well as an “S” that is all in daylilies. I have taken old windows and made a unique glass house that is surrounded by daylilies. There are several paths leading to daylily beds through the acreage.

A greenhouse that will be home to perennials is currently being added to the property with a stunning arbor near the entrance that will include seating for visitors.

Snow’s Daylily Garden is recognized as both a traditional and historical AHS display garden.
