About the Hybridizer(s)
Dr McGarty has been hybridizing since 1986. He has focused on some early Stout plants and species. He has written extensively on hemerocallis plant patterning and genetics. He holds degrees from MIT as well as having completed studies at Harvard Medical School. He has spent the last twenty years on cancer genomics at Columbia University Medical Center where he has sat on multiple boards.
