About the Hybridizer(s)

My name is Joe Goudeau, I have daylily gardens in two Louisiana locations. I have a one-acre hybridizing garden in the middle of Baton Rouge, and a second line out garden located in Central Louisiana. I hybridize plants that will survive the brutal south Louisiana weather. Most of those plants are grown throughout the United States.
My efforts have shifted over the years to Tetraploid Reds and Blacks that hold up to the sun edged diploids and large, unusual form diploids.
