Kathy's Daylilies

More about the garden:

Kathy and Bruce have over 1000 different cultivars on display and in their hybridizing area.  The display gardens are toward the front of the property where two beds highlighting various statues that represent their two daughters and their loves.
The Fowlers love to attract bees, dragonflies, butterflies and birds (with a special affection toward Bluebirds) and have planted Knockout Roses, Amaryllis, Butterfly Bushes and other plants to attract them.  They also have various vines, Hydrangea, perennials and hostas, and add more splashes of color with annuals.
Kathy says, “We have several areas created for sitting to admire God’s beauty and to give visitors a place to catch their breath.  We added a pavilion to host daylily and other garden club events, for visitors to cool off or have a drink of water. If time permits, we love to sit with them and discuss daylilies and invite them to club meetings or help them find club meetings in their area”.
