Joan started her journey in to the daylily world after getting “Georgia Peach” for a Mother’s Day gift from her son back in the early 2000’s. Since then, she has continued to amass at least 350 daylilies and grows them side by side with various other perennials. She loves to keep her clumps neat so she is out early every morning to deadhead her gardens.
She has a nice blend of mini’s, small, doubles, spiders and UF’s, and her garden is always a favorite among fellow plant lovers to visit.
